I’m just a girl born in Utah and raised in New Mexico. At 18 I moved to Arizona and tried to figure out how to be an adult. I believe it’s a process that never ends... there is always something to learn and grow from. Life changes and some of what I thought and believed about things in my 20’s changed in my 30’s. As I near 50, π³ (how bizarre, when did that # show up) I have new perspectives and insights that only living life can teach.
Almost all grown up I still have many moments of wonderment that I’m a lady not a little girl...sometimes I feel much younger than I am.
My 3 amazing children are all off in the world ‘adulting’ and I’m learning how to live a new type of life and way of being.
I am blessed to have a hardworking hubby (of 25 yrs π) that supports my crazy. Although I call myself a lady there is wild child inside. Sometimes she is quiet but other times she pops up with wild crazy ideas that don’t always make sense but are fun.
I’m a girl that loves to laugh and I try to look on the bright side of everything. My middle daughter always tells me I laugh when bad or scary things happen. It’s true but that is how I remove stress and fear.
Although our world is in the midsts of a Covid-19 pandemic we can’t let that stop us from living normal lives. I still get up and get dressed and even put on makeup (simply because I like how I feel when I’m ‘put’ together like that AND I’ll confess I get more done. Yep, there have been my days of sitting on my sofa binge watching Netflix and eating whatever junk I can find)
This blog will show many areas of my life.
My garden
My sewing project
My attempt to refurbishment a chair
My adventures with my guy
My religion, I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a seminary teacher and YW leader.
I hope that if you stopped by to visit my blog you’ll comment and let me know how you are living your life.
Let’s continue to connect in the ways we can.
π Lady Phoebe
